Tad enjoys donating his time to enhancing his community through expanding international relations, developing young leaders and raising funds for local charities.  Here are just a few efforts of his volunteer service:


VP, Colorado Springs Sister Cities International: Enhances relationships with 7 sister city relationships of Colorado Springs by planning, hosting and participating in diplomatic visits.  Sister Cities include Ancient Olympia, Greece; Bankstown, Australia; Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan; Fujiyoshida, Japan; Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Nuevo Casas Grandes, Mexico; and Smolensk, Russia. Chairman, Ancient Olympia, Greece sister city relationship:  Facilitated a diplomatic trip to Athens and Ancient Olympia in April 2016 with 20 Colorado Springs citizens, including Mayor and Mrs. Suthers. The group represented the U.S. by participated in the official torch lighting ceremony and relay for the 2016 Summer Olympics, the first time American citizens have directly participated in this official international ceremony.


Program Director, Young Champion Ambassadors: Leads this unique high school leadership development program tied to the Olympic Movement. Students are selected, limited to one per high school, to embrace their city through events with community leaders, media and an international trip where they represent their city, state and country. US Air Force Academy Association of Graduates: Active AOG member, seeking Board Member position to expand relationships and enhance activities the AOG provides to its members and surrounding communities.
